4. Problem Scenario

Mary

Because of Mary's increasingly frail state, people want to make the most of their time together and so Mary expects more visits than ever. She feels the need to prepare these visits and as usual show her love and care for these visitors, but recently it has become more and more overwhelming. (There is no realistic option where she goes to visit them instead.)

Charles realises one day how he doesn't feel he has any connection to his past and feels there it is too great an effort to try to remember or find out about it. Simple facts even would settle him but he feels his mind is locked up. Perhaps some things he does not even realise he's forgotten. He wants help, and a link back to his past. He wants some meaning back in his life, to get back a sense of continuity and importance of what he's done.
