Function 1

Guardian supplies NAO with basic information.

  1. Programmer/Designer sets a list of questions for the Guardian to complete on behalf of the PwD
  2. Guardian receives the online survey
  3. Guardian enters the information in the online survey
  4. Information is stored in NAO's database

Function 2

NAO asks questions to Guardian and PwD.

  1. NAO has identified knowledge gaps in the database to ask about
  2. NAO poses these questions to the Guardian and PwD
  3. NAO waits for verbal response from either Guardian or PwD
  4. Guardian or PwD responds with the question
  5. NAO simultaneously stores information under the relevant question heading within the database
  6. NAO repeats from step 1 until no new information is shared by the PwD and the Guardian
  7. NAO proceeds to prompt for any future social interactions with discussed relatives
  8. Guardian and PwD can set parameters and alerts for visiting relatives
