  • The PwD might find the given information to be intrusive, annoying, or upsetting.
  • The PwD might find the system unintuitive

Effects in use case 2

Use Cases

Upside

The PwD:

  • Using the system makes the PwD feel connected to their past, comfortable as well as secure about keeping these memories alive.

The health-care professional: can connect in personal ways to the PwD by providing additional assistance if needed.

Downside

The PwD:

  •  the PwD might be repelled from using the system if the memories are communicated in an unnatural fashion, or if the memories induce negative emotions instead of positive ones. The PwD might also feel unsecure about storing personal information in a digital, abstract system.

The guardian:  the Guardian might have to spend more time tinkering with the system to make sure it's fulfilling its role, thereby not achieving their own previously mentioned upsides.
