4. Problem Scenario
It took a lot of time for Truus to get back on her feet after the passing of husband. One of the big factors that helped her with the mourning of her late husband was the company of the dog she got. She spent a lot of time doing activities with her dog, such as participate is beauty shows, dog agility contests and of course the daily walks. When Truus got Alzheimer, this was all no longer possible because there was no one who could take care of the dog. Her son Edgard was traveling a lot for work, and there was no immediate family close by that could assist Truus. At Truus' nursing home it's currently not possible to have (service) pets. But Truus still reminiscences of the great years she had with her dog. Truus physically still capable to have daily walks. She has those with her favourite nurse Bob. Truus feels like she is missing a big part of her life and this makes her sometimes less energized and happy.
