The robot can increase it's speed if the patient starts walking faster or even running. The robot should also be able to lower its pace or stand still when the patient does so. 36 + 37 +- Engagement: The patient gets in a noticeable better mood compared to before the use of the robot. The patient should be able to say that they're happier and more engaged than before. The nurses that monitor the patients every day should have the same conclusion. 38 + 39 +- Stress: The patient and nurses should be able to notice a difference in stress level of the patient. The robot should not increase the stress levels. 40 + 41 +- Trust and adaptation: If a patient keeps making more use of its new companion it can be concluded that the patient trusts and has adapted to the robot. If the patient doesn't want to make use of the robot, an inability to trust and to adapt to the robot can be an issue. 42 + 43 +- Overreliance: Family members and nurses should not lower the amount of time they spend with the robot. E.g. now that the robot is a part of the patients life, the nurse that used to go on walks with a patient should still be doing that and now that the robot is here. 44 + 45 +- Inability to provide emotional support: This should be concluded through self-report measures, theĀ behavioral observations and the objective assessments. **This goes for most of the measurements mentioned here** 46 + 47 +- Privacy and security: The data should be safely stored and only accessed by authorized family members and staff. 48 + 49 +- Cost: The price of the robot should be as cheap as possible so it can be accessible to preferably all patients that would like to make use of this robot. 50 +))) 35 35 |((( 36 36 37 37

The next step would be to focus on a selected functionality and its most interesting effect for the use case (i.e. the claim to be tested). Concerning speed, fluency is a measure that you seem to aim at (a well-know measure in human-robot interaction research). - Date
