Version 4.1 by Hugo van Dijk on 2023/03/16 16:51

The figure below shows an ontology that represents our design and our system as a whole, as well as the overview of the interactions between the agent and the PwD. Explanations for the different classes are given at the bottom of the page. Ontology - 1.jpg

The second image below represents a more detailed view of an ontology for each resident at the care center, therefore for all people. This is also a good representation for how the logging system could look, for logging each person's activity status and interests for the robot to remember.

Ontology - People (1).jpg

Person: A human being. Persons usually have an age, a gender, and a name. Persons can like different things and have different hobbies, such as working out or knitting. Persons can also be affected by various conditions.

Dementia: A brain disease affecting people’s cognitive, affective, motoric, and social functioning. There are different causes for dementia with different symptoms. Alzheimer’s is the most commonly known form, but other forms include Korsakoff syndrome. There are different stages of dementia too: mild, moderate, and severe.
