2 [[Calendars>>doc:2\. Specification.Requirements.RQ02\.0\: Schedule events.WebHome]] record what has happened and what will happen, helping PwDs organize their day and remember important events. Hospitalized patients tend to lose their sense of time; This involves time going slowly, inability to tell how much time things take or what the current time is [[(Kelly, 1999).>>https://ebn.bmj.com/content/2/2/61]] Reminders can also be used to reduce the burden on caretakers since they could take over routine tasks like medicine reminders, announcements of activities or relaying information like menus.

7 \\**Downside**|(% style="width:757px" %)PwDs may become overly reliant on technology to keep track of time, which could limit their ability to rely on their internal sense of time or other cues in their environment. This could potentially lead to a decrease in independence. Social robots should be a supplement to human care and not a replacement (Lizzy Sinnema and Maryam Alimardani, 2019). One of the other characteristics of hospitalized patients is a feeling of isolation (Kelly, 1999), which could worsened by lessened contact with human caretakers. Robots are also not able to check whether medications are actually taken, relying on such a system for life saving medication may therefore be dangerous.

10 Before using the robot, baseline performance is measured, which includes the number of appointments missed, the frequency of reminders needed, and the number of days with a clearly defined schedule. And same performance will be measured after using the calender function and compared with the baseline performance.

12 The downside can be tested through observation. If PwDs constantly check the time on the device, even when it is not necessary or the person becomes anxious or disoriented when the device is not functioning correctly.
