With the following claims, we represent concrete and testable hypotheses that we expect to the see in the PwD during their interaction with Pepper. Along with this we describe the claims in detail to explain the logic and reasoning behind them. These claims are directly referred to in the Use Cases, hence for further information about their context, please refer to that section.

= Downsides =

There are also potential downsides. The PwD may get frustrated and/or bored by Pepper reminding them about their calendar event / meal / medicine. However, despite these potential negative feelings, we believe that the PwD will be more satisfied afterwards, once they accomplish the object of the reminder.
In this case, it is up to the HCP and the relatives to have an appropriate level of reminders, so as to adapt it to the specific needs of the patient.
Furthermore, the PwD may rely too much on Pepper, thus reducing their autonomy without her. This is also a potential negative consequence. However, by using Pepper, the PwD may create long-term associations to compensate for this.
