Prototype

Version 3.1 by Doreen Mulder on 2022/03/01 12:16

We aim to evaluate our prototype throughout all stages of development. This section describes the prototype we want to test in our pilot study: A small study to determine if our idea works as intended. The evaluation will be conducted with a Wizard-of-Oz approach.

The prototype must be able to perform the following actions:
- 'Snoezelen'
When the user interacts with Miro through pets and other physical touch, Miro should detect this and respond accordingly.

- Walking a route
Controlled by a remote, Miro should be able to follow a route.

- Respond to a wireless wristband
When walking the route, Miro should be able to keep track of the user that they are walking with. When the user lags behind, the Miro should wait for the user to catch up. When the user goes further away, the wristband should vibrate. We will also Wizard-of-Oz this, by having the Miro stop walking when the user gets too far behind.

Optional:
- User calls Miro's name
