As sometime the patients in the nursing home feel lonely or crave attention from others. With the other patients in the nursing homes, it’s sometimes hard for a nurse to provide the necessary care for every patient. Sometimes another patients requires more attention, which takes away from the attention of another patient. In this case the Dogg0 can provide the PwD with the emotional support it needs. It can do this by actively seeking the attention of the PwD. We see interacting the PwD with the Dogg0 as a meaningful addition to their daily life. The aim is to have the Dogg0 walk up towards the patient and raise and lower its head, asking to be pet. The PwD can decide if they want to interact or not. If the PwD pets the Dogg0 it will continue raising its head up and down until the PwD stops. If the PwD is not in need or doesn’t want any attention, the doggo will do a small dance and walk away. If a nurse is available, they can observe and analyze how the process went. 10 + 11 +**Interaction Scenario** 12 + 13 +Although each of the IDPs contained in this TDP is shortly described in Interactive Design Patterns section, below is a short overview of it divided into Scene A and Scene B: 14 + 15 +* A caregiver has to beforehand explain the capabilities of the Dogg0 to the PwD and the family members. 16 +* In scene A the Dogg0 will go up to the PwD and ask for it to be pet. The PwD can then decide what to do. Will it interact with the Dogg0 by petting it or will it ignore the Dogg0. If the PwD pets the Dogg0 it will continue raising its head up and down until the PwD stops. If the PwD is not in need or doesn’t want any attention, the doggo will do a small dance and walk away. 17 +* In scene B the Dogg0 will go up to the PwD and ask for it to be pet. The PwD will then not know what to do and how to interact with the Dogg0. If there is no interaction the Dogg0 walk away. If there is a nurse near, the nurse can tell the PwD that the Dogg0 wants to pet it and then see how the PwD will interact 18 +* Sometimes throughout the whole process, the nurse will be supervising the interaction between the Dogg0 and the PwD, proceeding as well as moderating social processes.
