Stakeholders' goal | What do these people want to achieve? | Truus wants peace as long as she is at the nursing home. She wants to feel the company of other. And she wants to feel distracted and occupied instead of sitting at home all day. Edgard wants the wellbeing of Truus and other patients to be ensured. He wants to spend his time efficiently so that he can provide the patients with as good care as possible. He also wants to have fun at work, so that he can keep going as long as possible Bob wants his mother to be in good hands at the nursing home, so that she can have a good rest of her life. The wellbeing of his mother at the nursing homes makes him able to travel for his work without having to worry about his mother. |
Values and motivation | Why do these people want to achieve this?
| Truus wants to avoid loneliness, boredom and the feeling of unsafety. Truus also wants to be able to do some things herself as long as she is still capable. The values important for Truus are: Autonomy and Companionship Edgard wants to ensure that his patients feel as comfortable as possible. He wants the patients to feel like the nursing home is a second home. Edgard is has a lot of patience with the patients in the nursing homes because he can relate to their struggle. His grandmother suffered from Alzheimer. The values important for Edgard are: Empathy, Patience and Care Bob needs to trust that his mother is in good hands, that she is taken good care of and that she spends her time doing things she enjoyed her whole life. Bob also wants to be able to talk with his mother almost daily when he is traveling. This should be possible because of the help of nurses like Edgard. The values important for Bob are: Independence, Autonomy and Responsibility

She lives in the nursing home and is the one being taken care of. Truus should feel comfortable and home at the nursing home Edgard has the biggest role of all stakeholders. He is responsible for Truus and the other patients. He has to make sure that the patients are active, eat and sleep enough. For example, Edgard puts the patients in bed, goes on walks with them and ensures that they get enough nutrients every day. Edgard also acts as a bridge between the patient and the family. Bob pays for the stay of Truus at the nursing home. He wants his mother to have a great rest of her life. Bob wants to be able to visit his mother as much as possible but this is not always possible because of work. Bob makes time to video call almost daily with Truus. This is possible with the help of nurses like Edgard. |
