9 +**Dementia: **A brain disease affecting people’s cognitive, affective, motoric, and social functioning. There are different causes for dementia with different symptoms. Alzheimer’s is the most commonly known form, but other forms include Korsakoff syndrome. There are different stages of dementia too: mild, moderate, and severe.
