For the operational demands, SCE prescribes as main components the stakeholders and their characteristics (including their values), and the problem description and analysis thereof. A //problem scenario// provides a short storyline to illustrate the way in which stakeholders experience the problem. To obtain a clear overview of the problem, it needs to be analysed: what are the causes of the problem? Can the problem be broken down into smaller problems? And what type of problems are related to this problem yet beyond the scope of the current problem description? 1 +The physical activity that we intend to motivate the PwD to do will take place around a carecenter. This carecenter has 70 elderly living there, each with their own room. When two people are married, they share a room if they want to. There are multiple departments in the carecenter: one for people with dementia, one for people in need of much physical care, and another for the less-maintenance elderly. The carecenter has a big garden with paved paths, and bushes, plants, and trees, where the elderly are allowed to walk through. 2 + 3 +Many elderly have befriended each other, but there are some, especially in the dementia department, that do not like to engage much with others. They engage with the caretakers to some extent but don't reach out themselves. Walking in the garden seems to brighten the mood of many elderly. The caretakers are very person-oriented. They take all residents' feelings very seriously and try to make them feel as independent as possible. 4 + 5 +The majority of each resident's day is spent in their department's living room. These rooms have a lounge area with comfortable couches and chairs, as well as tables around which people can sit. When there are no collective activities taking place, a TV is always on showing sports, and caretakers play games with groups of residents. 6 + 7 +
