9 9  **Example:  **In our use case (i.e. "motivation"  as specified by group 4 of the SCE-course in 2023), Pepper explains using speech and images, the goal of the activity, which is to go for a short walk together with the PwD. The speech rate is slightly lower than average considering the age and cognitive abilities of the participants. Pepper uses explanations based on the ultimate goal (i.e. 'you will be healthier') or based on emotion (i.e. "it will make me happy") to explain the reason behind the activity. Pepper confirms if the PwD wants to join him outside, and if not, provides another different explanation. For detail on the parameter setting, see the Table below (WIP).

1 -Good that you specify an IDP for this core element of your design. See my remark on "walking goals" at the TDP concerning "use when" (too low activity level over the past 3 days). Very good that you give an example and the table with parameters. Providing a somewhat more specif/detailed example and concrete values for the values would be good.

Concerning the "Design Rationale": refer to the appropriate parts of the "Foundation/ Human Factors", particularly concerning the explanation types and persuasiveness.
