UC1.2: During The Walk

Objective Hopefully an enjoyable walk for the PwD, fresh air, movement, and light exercise. OB1, OB2, OB3, OB4, OB5

Actors

PwD and humanoid robot

Pre-Condition

1. The PwD has agreed to go on the walk and is able to do so

2. Weather conditions allow for walking as well as hardware conditions (Ex. battery)

Post-ConditionThe PwD and robot have safely returned from the walk
Action Sequence

AC 1.2.1: Robot and PwD leaving the building together

AC 1.2.2: Robot and PwD start the walk towards the goal.

    - Robot asking PwD casual social questions during the walk. (What did you do today? etc. type questions)

    - Redirecting PwD if they go off track (Ex. "I think we are supposed to go right here, Maria!")

    - Motivation prompts during the walk. 

    - If possible, monitor traffic conditions with the help of sensors.

AC 1.2.3 Arriving at the park/in the garden

AC 1.2.4 Spending some time in the park/garden.

    - Robot remains close to PwD

    - Robot continues occasional social prompts

    - Robot asks if PwD wants to return/tells PwD it is time to return.

AC 1.2.5 Journey back to the care centre/back inside. Similar process as before.

AC 1.2.6 Make sure PwD arrives home safely.
