1 Since the core of our idea is to motivate care center residents to go out on walks more often, without human assistance, freeing up space for both family members and caretakers but of course, without replacing the human-assisted walks entirely.

3 **Hence, the objectives of our design are the following**:

5 - Promoting independence and autonomy in PwD while still assuring safety while they are out in the neighborhood/garden of the care center. Therefore, the objective that is achieved is a higher feeling/degree of autonomy with the robot's help.

7 - Promoting healthy doses of exercise and enrichment for PwD. Therefore, the objective that would be achieved is more movement and a healthier lifestyle for PwD.

9 - Prompting PwD to participate in an activity (walking outside) through motivation, goal-based or emotional. Therefore, the objective that is achieved is PwD participating in more activities on their own.

11 - Robot could be a potential social companion also, which would achieve an objecting of combating loneliness. Robot could also be extended to taking more than one resident outside at one time.
