The main idea of our solution is to motivate the residents of the care center with dementia to go for a walk in the garden and join them. Increasing the activity level of a person with dementia can have great positive health effects. The walk will be without human assistance with the use of Pepper but it cannot replace human-assisted walks entirely. Besides increasing the mental and physical health of the PwD, the [[stakeholders>>doc:Main.sdf.Stakeholders.WebHome]] also benefit greatly from the solution since it enables them to have more free time and less responsibility. Below the main objective will be summarized in several smaller parts.

**The objectives of the design:**

OB1: A higher degree of autonomy; promoting independence and autonomy in PwD while still assuring safety while they are out in the neighbourhood/garden of the care center.

OB2: Activity in the daily lives of PwD; promoting healthy doses of exercise and enrichment for PwD.

OB3: PwD participating in more activities on their own; prompting PwD to participate in an activity (walking outside) through motivation, goal-based or emotional.

OB4: Adding a social companion during the walks; the robot could be a potential social companion and can be extended to taking more than one resident outside at once.

OB5:Time pressure release for the stakeholders; the stakeholders, like the care-takers and the children of the personas, can have more free time and use their time more efficiently instead of going on several walks with the PwD.
