I am currently doing a software technology master. So far, this course has been the most different from the other. In my bachelor, I have once worked with a robot before in a bachelor course. I had enjoyed very much, it ended up being my favorite bachelor course. I was happy to see that we will be working with a robot in this course again.

In the first week, it was not very clear yet what the project was about. I enjoyed making the storyboard and the persona's though.

In the second and third week, it became more clear what we should do. I had a better vision of what our research will be and learned some theories, regarding the music-cognition, the collaboration with humanoid robots and the hardware and software of humanoid robots. In the third week, Liza and I also started working on the first presentation. In the presentation, we got some good feedback and good answers that give us other insights on the project.

Liza and I worked very well together on the presentation. Actually, we all as a team work well together. We discuss everything and everyone knows what his/her task is for the week and does it on time.

Demi, Liza and I have also worked with the pepper robots. It was quite fun to test our idea on it. Although, we had some difficulties with the command that makes him walking. We discovered afterward that to make him walk we have to use a different program than robotsindeklas. We had to download choreography, which initially had problems with speech recognition. We all tried to fix the issues on several sessions. Hugo managed to fix at the end. Then we had a few more sessions to test our experiment before the evaluation.

The evaluation day was quite long, we were there from 09:00 till 17:00. We managed to test our experiment on 16 students. We noticed that most people just followed the same path, which mean they all almost agreed to go on a walk immediately. There were a few that took a different path, which was nice for us to see and test. In the meanwhile, I also did the experiment of other groups. It was nice to see other ideas and how each group handled things differently.

Overall, I enjoyed the course a lot. I liked working with a robot, and I am looking forward to work with it again, maybe on a higher level next time. However, I think the xwiki was sometimes unclear. Sometimes I was not very sure on what the section was asking. I also do not think it is great for the final report. I also enjoyed working with my group, everyone was dedicated to the project and aimed for the best. I also liked our communication a lot, we discussed everything together and everyone did his/her task. We also helped each other when one of us was stuck with something. One of the best groups I ever worked with.
