5 5  Georgina is an avid enjoyer of all works of fiction. Even at the ripe age of 83, she is a huge fan of romance novels however with her recent diagnosis of moderately severe dementia she finds it hard to keep her hands steady to escape into her favourite novel. Before the onset of dementia, she would enjoy a  few chapters of a novel every evening with a steaming cup of tea or spend it in the happy company of her friends and family, but now the later hours of the day leave her confused and irritable and although she would take her dinner after a few gentle requests from her nurse, Eleana, she personally no longer enjoys her meals and in her frustration she also sometimes ends up lashing out on her sweet nurse and/or lovely son. Her slow but obvious deterioation is slowly eating away at her and she is losing motivation to have three balanced meals per day.

10 10  Eleana's motivation to pursue a career in medical caregiving stems from watching her mother spend her entire life caring for the elderly in her community. Fresh out of her training for caring for patients with dementia, Eleana wishes to carry on her mother's legacy by caring for her recently assigned patient, Georgina Dean. However a long term real-life assignment is much more complex than the short term training scenarios and Eleana realises there is much to learn as she aids Georgina with her day to day activities without impeding on her patient's self-independence.

He used to look forward to his weekend dinners with his mother but is now always anxious about triggering her and frustrating her unintentionally thus making him hesitant to interact with his beloved mother.
