Art Management

Art is the primary focus of our project and it has been managed in our project to display an image to the patient to guide them during their painting session.

Initially, we consider two scenarios:

1. The patient loves painting and has in-depth knowledge of painting.
2. The patient just likes to paint as a hobby.

To make the patient get acquainted with their past life, we ask the relatives about certain memories of the patient in the form of a picture. These pictures will be stored in the database of that particular patient.

Art is managed in the following ways in our project:

• If the PwD wants to draw a picture based on a memory, Pepper displays the relevant picture provided by the relative. This aids the patient in remembering the events correctly and drawing the same.
• If the PwD wants to draw a random picture, then Pepper displays the picture of the object to help the patient draw. based on the requirement of the user, we retrieve the first suggestion provided by the google images and display it to the patient.
• If the PwD is very experienced with art and painting and wants to draw a certain style of painting (such as impressionist, cubic, etc), then Pepper will show examples of the mentioned style. These images will also be retrieved from google images. Pepper will then ask the patient to pick one of the paintings and then assist in painting.

Music Management

 Music is an extra feature that can be turned on or off based on the patient's request. Once the patient starts painting, we ask them if they want to listen to white music while painting. If they agree, we play the music via Spotify. Otherwise, the music is turned off.
