3 | In this week we formed groups and met on friday to brainstorm ideas for our use case. We considered two things into account for helping people with dementia. First, help the patient with some form of entertainment. Second, help them with their day-to-day life. After a discussion, we decided to pick entertainment. Even entertainment has a very broad aspect, so we went through some literature and found out that art (music or visual) helps people with dementia by improving their quality of life. We finally decided on painting because it is a very interesting approach to helping people. Everyone provided their valuable inputs in the deciding the use case.

11 | This week's lecture focused on the evaluation aspects of the robot. The team met again on Friday to narrow down all our use cases. The quick start section was fixed during this meetup and the "Foundation" and "Specification" section was divided among the team members. Me and Varun took up the d,e and f sections of the specification section.

15 | The lectures this week focused on the theories that can be integrated in our robot, such as Self Determination theory. This week we met again on friday to divide our task for the week. Me and Varun worked on the technical analysis of the robot. We initially designed the flowchart of the interaction process which helped us narrow down the technical aspects and challenges. From here, I personally worked on technical aspects of dealing with art and music management and worked on the requirements and analysis of our implementation process in Pepper. I also worked on the human-robot collaboration section to determine the human-robot theories that are required in our project.

19 | This week we learned about the design patterns. The team also worked on the presentation and Deepalki, Ilinca and Varun gave our presentation on tuesday. From this week, we are expected to start the implementation process and the team met again on friday to discuss the workload division. Me and Marijn will work on the function section of the specification. One important aspect of this meeting was that we also finalized our research question.
