Evans and Collier (2019) proved that the calendar's familiarity and location, as well as its utility to the person with dementia and caregiver, could boost its efficacy.
Tokunaga et al. (2016) developed a schedule management system for personalized reminders to address the lack of human context awareness, compassionate human-machine interaction, and personal adaptation flexibility in existing reminder systems, demonstrating the importance of detecting people with dementia's current location and context.
