Haoran Wang 26.1 2
Haoran Wang 15.1 3 1. Research on should we use one robot for one person or one robot for a group of people.
Haoran Wang 28.1 4 * Research result: Almost all researches focus on one robot for one person.
5 * Robot for a group of people: functions are very limited. They don't have any complex functions, like speech recognition or scheduler, because these robots have to process the information of a group of people at the same time, which is really hard.
6 * One robot for one person: It can adapt itself to the patient for practical use, e.g., assessment for the patient, customization, training, etc. The only disadvantage probably is the cost, but I think since it's a prototype, we don't need to consider it now. So we chose one robot for one person.

Haoran Wang 29.1 8 2. Group meeting on Tuesday and Sunday to discuss the research results and decide which robot to use.

Haoran Wang 25.1 12 1. We checked the Interactive Robotics platform and found it is too simple for our project. So we turned to Choreograph, which is also hard to use.
Haoran Wang 18.1 13 1. I was assigned the Calendar and Reminder tasks. It should be easy to do, but the Choreograph platform crashes every time and I do not know exactly how to use it. I read the tutorial and followed the steps, but it just did not work for some unknown reason.

Haoran Wang 32.1 15 ==== Week 3 ====
Haoran Wang 35.1 16 This week, we learned about user stories, design patterns, and ontologies. I got a detailed idea of personas, and storyboards, and finally knew what ontology is. We discussed the implementation of reminders and music on Choreographe during the Tuesday lecture and continued to work on use cases and personas.

Haoran Wang 32.1 18 ==== Week 4 ====
Haoran Wang 34.1 19 This week I learned about the evaluation in the designing process, including DECIDE and IMPACT frameworks, experiment design, types of data, questionnaires, etc. I got further insight into what evaluation is and how to implement it in the designing process. We discussed our progress during Tuesday's lecture and found our schedule is a little too slow. So we divided the tasks and try to be well-prepared before the presentation next week.
Haoran Wang 31.1 20 This week I worked on the Test under the Evaluation, including problem statement and research questions, experimental design, tasks, measures, procedure, material, and results. Then Monolo and Pietro can revise it to make it more consistent and reasonable.

Haoran Wang 32.1 22 ====Week 5====
23 On Tuesday, my team members had our first presentation. I'll present in the second presentation.

Haoran Wang 32.1 25 ====Week 6====
26 I finished the Inclusive Design and Measuring Instruments and modified the Use Cases and Music Management on XWiki.
27 We prepared our evaluation and decide to use the gardening activity as our evaluation.

Haoran Wang 32.1 29 ====Week 7====
Haoran Wang 35.1 30 We started our evaluation on Monday. Sneha and I did three evaluation sessions on Monday, and five evaluation sessions on Thursday. I finished the Human-Agent Teamwork on XWiki and modified the Test part. I was supposed to do the presentation next Monday. Unfortunately, I tested positive on Friday this week. So, I have to stay at home. Thankfully, my teammate Sneha offered to do the presentation for me, which is really kind.

Haoran Wang 35.1 32 ====Week 8====
33 This week, we mainly focused on the XWiki and the evaluation results. I added partnership in Robotic Partner and modified Design Patterns and Ontology according to the comments. I finished the first draft of Music and Cognition, Group's Core Theoretical Foundation.

36 ====Personal Reflection====
Haoran Wang 35.2 37 During the course and progress of the project, I learned about the Socio-Cognitive Engineering method and applied it to our project. I also gained a deeper understanding of dementia and increased my attention to people with dementia.
