Direct stakeholders
The target group is defined as follows:
- People with dementia
- Living at home (alone or with others)
- In early stages of dementia (problem-solving issues, minor memory losses, planning problems).
Another direct stakeholder is the healthcare professional:
- Visiting the patients at home at least once a week
- Checking regularly on the patients (no need to do active surveillance, just to remain available in case a problem occurs)
- Doing activities with the patient
- Filling in week planning for the patient, and/or activity breakdown (parameterizable, based on what is required for the patient)
Close family of the patient is also included in the direct stakeholders:
- Living with the patient or visiting regularly
- Filling in week planning for the family member with PwD, and/or activity breakdown
- Pepper takes on her part of the tasks to relieve them
Value stories
As a PwD, I want to (not all of them are applicable to all patients):
- get help in activities I have problems with IN ORDER TO stay independent and autonomous
- be reminded of the medicine I have to take IN ORDER TO keep myself safe and healthy
- be reminded of the important events of the week IN ORDER TO remain in control of my life.
As a HCP, I want to:
- have social interaction with my patients IN ORDER TO build a strong relationship with them and help them in their life
- add the planning of the week for the patient (if the patient needs it) IN ORDER TO allow them to stay autonomous and in control
- enter the breakdown of activities into Pepper IN ORDER TO increase their independence and autonomy.
As a person living with a PwD, or a relative/friend visiting them, I want to:
- be relieved from constantly needing to assist the PwD IN ORDER TO have some more time for myself
- add planning/activities into Pepper IN ORDER TO see my relative with PwD be happy in their life.
