8.2	1	People with dementia encounter many problems in their day to day life which are a direct consequence of their condition. Dementia symptoms include memory loss, confusion, difficulty in speaking and comprehension which can result in various problems, some of which, can represent a real danger to the PwD’s health.

8.2	3	Scenarios where the dementia’s symptoms can cause problems include:
	4	* The PwD has a medicine schedule that is very crucial to maintain. Due to the memory loss he/she forgets to take his/her medicine which can have a detrimental effect on his/her health

8.2	6	* The PwD needs to perform a very simple tasks such as tying his/her shoes, cooking a simple meal or calling a loved one on the phone. The dementia symptoms make it very difficult to perform these tasks and as a consequence the PwD loses autonomy.
