Week Content
Week1(Feb 6 - Feb 12) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, learning some concepts about human-centered design.
2. Discussed some basic idea about this robot, like the general task of it. We brainstormed some fundamental use case toogether.
3. Individually, Reviewed the first week lecture and dived deeper into the daily routine of demantia patients.
Week 2(Feb 13 - Feb 19) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, learning the music and cognition.
2. On Tudesday, we discussed the basic design idea of the robot, decided the platform and divided the task. Finish my own task of writing wiki about foundation/Human Facors/Music and Cognition.
Week 3(Feb 20 - Feb 26) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, learning the design pattern and ontologies. Got a detail idea of peronas, storyborad, team/interaction design pattern and so on.
2. On Tudesday, Andrei, Lang and I worked together on the use cases and claims. We extened the original high level use case in detail.
3. Personally, after getting the brief idea of use cases, I finished the use case 3 and the corresponding claims in detail.
Week 4(Feb 27 - Mar 5) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, and got some basic ideas about why we need to evaluate and how we can perform the evaluation.
2. On Tudesday, due to I had a compulsory house inspection of my last housing contract, I didn't attend the lecture but I worked with my teammates remotely.
3. Personally, after we divided the presentation task, I made the slides about human factors and prepared for the next week presentation.
Week 5(Mar 6 - Mar 12) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, our group did the presentation.
2. Discussed based on the feedback we got and decided to focus on the quiz and todo task use cases. We worked together on the robot Friday morning and managed to do quiz with the NAO.
Week 6(Mar 13 - Mar 19) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, got the basic understanding of inclusive design and understanding of issues in accessibility.
2. We planned the evalutation and focus our evaluation on the quiz use case. We designed the control groups and the questionare that we want to use.
Week 7(Mar 20 - Mar 26) 1. Attended the Monday lecture, and got a basic understanding of inclusive design and understanding of issues inaccessibility.
2. Invited several participants for our Friday evaluation. We first worked with the NAO for the final check during Friday morning and did the evaluation for the whole afternoon. We successfully evaluated 19 participants and each one took around 10 minutes.
3. Individually, I worked on the consent form and the questionnaire. I designed several questions that would be useful for our evaluation and checked the final version together with my teammates. Besides, once we got the evaluation results after Friday, I tried to analyze our result and made the slides for the final presentation.
Week 8(Mar 27 - Apr 2) 1. Attended the Monday lecture and listened to the final presentation of two groups.
2. We prepared for the Tuesday presentation and checked the final presentation slides together.
2. Individually, my presentation part mainly focused on the result analysis. Besides, I edited the Evaluation/Prototype, Evaluation/Test, Human Factor/Group's Core Theoretical Foundation and personal page.
