People with Dementia (PwD)

A person that has been diagnosed with dementia by a doctor.

As a person with dementia, I want to be reminded of my daily activities to improve self-direction.
As a person with dementia, I want to associate songs with my routine to more easily remember them.
As a person with dementia, I want to listen to my favorite song to reminiscence and support tradition.
As a person with dementia, I want to notify my family and care facility when I'm unresponsive, to support security.
As a person with dementia, I want to remember my daily activities to support self-direction.
As a person with dementia, I want to play quizzes and easy games to achieve stimulation in an otherwise boring environment.

Family members of PwD / Care Giver / Helper

Family members of PwD: A person who is a close family member and is in close connection with a person diagnosed with dementia.
Care Giver / Helper: A person whose profession is to take care of the need of a person diagnosed with dementia. They are usually required to have special qualifications as it is mandatory by law.

Values: Security, conformity

As a family member of a PwD, I want to be sure they don't miss any of their daily activities to improve security.
As a family member of a PwD, I want to be notified when my family member is unresponsive.

Health Care Professionals

A healthcare professional is a doctor who is trained to oversee and make decisions about the PwD's daily life. Their scientific background and medical knowledge are important to supervise how the PwD's daily life is affected by dementia and choose the required decisions to improve it.

As a HCP, I want to know if my patient is safe at home to improve security.
As a HCP, I want to learn more about the daily routine of my patent to improve my knowledge.

Indirect

individuals who are otherwise affected by the use of the technology

People without Dementia / Family members of older people

People who are personally or through family members are not affected by dementia.

As a person without dementia, I want to be sure that if I'm ever affected by this disease there are ways to slow down / cure it, or just make life living with the disease more enjoyable to improve security and knowledge.

As a family member of an elderly person, I want to be up-to-date on the current processes and technologies that can help people with dementia.
