Stakeholders

We distinguish between direct and indirect stakeholders involved in the usage of the Miro robot for guiding patients with dementia.
Direct stakeholders encompass the following groups of people (in no particular order):
- Patients diagnosed with dementia (I)
- People who are assigned as legal guardians for (I) who are in legal ward (in Dutch: onder curatele/bewind) Definition from the government of the Netherlands (in Dutch).
- Loved ones of (I): children, siblings, parents, friends and other guardians.
- Healthcare workers
- Daily caretakers: who look after (I) and ensures their well-being.
- Occasional healthcare agents: physicians, doctors in clinics or hospitals, psychologists, nurses, etc.
Indirect stakeholders are characterized by different groups of people (in no particular order):
- Neighbors living next to (I)
- Acquaintances of (I)
- Other patients who attend the same care facilities as (I)
- Service-oriented people who interact with (I) such as (non-exhaustive list):
- Shopkeepers
- People employed in public service agencies (e.g. police officers, ticket inspectors in public transit, etc.)
- Strangers who observe (I)
