Week 1

The first week of the project was particularly important as we had to figure out the specifics of the program that we wanted to implement. I mainly worked with Marlein and did some research about the meaningful activities and how we could assist PwD in dealing with those activities. Also, about the reminiscing effect of music and the ways we could exploit it.

Week 2

The lecture about music gave me an insight into how the brain works, more specifically that of PwD, and how music can have multiple benefits in the delaying of symptoms or the soothing of PwD. Given that information, we further specified our scenario and the target patients of our prototype. Personally, I worked on the Stakeholders of our prototype. 

Week 3

This week we got to work with the NAO robot. It took us a bit of time to set up, so we didn't manage too much, however, it was very informative as we got a feeling of how a person would interact with it in real life. I helped formulate a first version of the use case and I created the Person ontology and filled in the respective information under Ontology. I also filled in the Design Pattern and Ontology page under the Human Resources tab. 

Week 4

We got to test the prototype and refine most of the details for the presentation. Personally, I worked on defining the measures and an initial plan for the evaluation.

Week 5

Continued working on the evaluation, the procedure, the measures, and the plan. We all worked on the NAO again and figured out the 2 different versions that we want to test.

Week 6

This week we started with the evaluation. We finalized the versions that are going to be shown to the participants and the procedure step-by-step. I put together the questionnaire and transferred it to Qualtrics. I also created the doodle for people to come for the evaluation and organized the lab sessions to have as many participants as we can.

Week 7

This week, we finished up the experiments, during which I introduced the participants and explained the procedure. I also participated in the preparation of the slides for the Final Presentation and prepared for that as well.

Week 8

I presented during the Final Presentation and completed anything under Human Factors that was still unfinished, as well as related them to our project.
