However, he's defensive about his inability to by completely self sufficient, and will get annoyed if he's reminded of it often, such as reminding him too much to do something, or being asked why he left the meal prepared for him uneaten.

He goes to help his mother atleast once a week, but sometimes she gets surprised/scared by visits, because she can't remember it. When he isn't there, he worries that she isn't taking care of her self, like drinking, eating or doing any activities.
